1/26/12 Please note that the next quarterly supper / meeting has been moved to Tuesday, 21 February 2012, and the location has been tentatively set for the Wake Tech Public Safety campus at 321 Chapanoke Road in Raleigh.
The Wake County Firefighters Association offers two $500 scholarships annually, one awarded to a Wake County firefighter, and one to a Wake County firefighter's dependent. Each scholarship can be used towards a course of study at a community college, college or university. The Association is currently accepting applications for 2012, please click the links below for instructions and the application form. Applications must be submitted by the WCFA's May meeting, and winners will be announced at the August meeting.

Globe sponsored the November 2009 WCFA meeting by funding the supper and providing numerous door prizes. The premium prize was a set of their new G-XCEL turnout gear, awarded in a raffle drawing to one lucky winner. |
